On June 15th, the PACE Technical Services team convened at Longo’s Richmond Hill to take part in the Big Bike Event for heart disease and stroke research. The team’s fundraising efforts raised $3,160 toward the event’s grand total of $52,495.59, making the day a massive success for everyone who participated.
The Big Bike Event proved to be a ton of fun for PACE, giving team members the chance to hop on the titular big bike for a ride around town. Keeping the giant bike moving requires a lot of cooperation and enthusiasm, and with Team Captain Sharon Berman leading the charge it made for an exciting afternoon – and was no doubt a sight to see for everyone we rode past!
PACE Technical Services would like to extend a huge thank you to our Team Captain and our entire team, as well as to the event organizers for giving us a fantastic excuse to get together outside of the office. We’d also like to thank everyone who donated to our fundraising efforts and helped us to support a very important and worthwhile cause.
Giving back to the community is something the PACE team takes pride in, and we hope to be able to take part in more events like this in the future. To find out how you can participate in or donate to future Big Bike Events, check out the Heart and Stroke Foundation website.
